Rick will show how to use composition, color, exposure, post processing and creatively visualization (to name a few topics) for making images with impact. Rick will also talk about his one-picture promise, which Rick promises, works all the time.
In the second presentation Rick covers the most important element in photography: Getting Inspired and Staying Motivated. To drive home his point, Rick will share his "Top Ten" list of how to get inspired and how to stay motivated. This list, which Rick will expand upon: Steal, Share, Join, Learn, Change, Travel, Enjoy, Look, and Walk.
You don't want to miss Rick's motivational talk. It's a great way to start the weekend!
|Canon Explorer of Light and award-winning photographer Rick Sammon loves his day job. A tireless, prolific and inspirational image-maker, Rick, called by some “The Godfather of Photography,” is one of the most active photographers on the planet – dividing his time between creating images, leading photo workshops, and making personal appearances.|
Rick’s enthusiasm for digital imaging is contagious. He is a man on a mission – a mission to make digital photography fun, creative, exciting and rewarding for others.
Rick’s latest books are Creative Visualization for Photographers and Evolution of an Image, and Exploring Photographic Exposure.
While Rick describes himself as “evolving,” he hesitates to categorize his work. “I’m an A-to-Z type of photographer. I do it all – and I enjoy the freedom of not specializing.”
With nearly 40 years of experience, this self-taught photographer has many accomplishments – and many more anticipated for the road ahead. As Rick suggests, “When you are through changing, you are through.”
|Kevin Raber is an entertaining speaker, is passionate about photography and brings a wealth of experience and knowledge about all phases of photography. He has traveled the globe and you are sure to be inspired by his beautiful photos.|
For the last five years he was publisher of Luminous-landscape, one of the most visited websites on the web. Before that he spent 13 years with Phase One, a very progressive camera company making the finest camera in the world. Along with these jobs, Kevin has led photography workshops to some of the most beautiful places around the world.
Kevin is now CEO and Publisher of his new venture photoPXL, which will launch soon.
